FORETRAVEL MID-SOUTH MOTORCADE CLUB

Dear Foretravel/RV Travelers:

I trust each of you had a wonderful Christmas and will have a prosperous and happy new year.

Shirley and I are looking forward to seeing you at upcoming events this year with our Motorcade Club. We hope each of you can make it to the various events.

At our last rally it was expressed that we need somebody to help us with our website. I have good news for you. Rich Holmer, #15456, has volunteered to be our webmaster and has already done a good bit of work getting our website up to date. Check out our website at www.foretravelmidsouth.com and keep up to date as we will continue to pass on all relative information regarding events and our members through the website. Rich’s email is rich@holmer.net. If you have information that is of interest to all of our members, let him know. In addition to the national motorcades that are coming up (which incidentally are listed on our website) here is a schedule of important events for Mid-South this year:

1. Spring Rally: March 1 through 3

Location: Lake Conroe/Houston North KOA (formerly Haven’s Landing RV Resort)

Wagon Master: Robert and Linda Curtis, Foretravel No. 11601

Please refer to the enclosed letter from the Curtis’s that I am sending along with the letter giving you the schedule and information and registration form. They have planned a wonderful rally.

2. Buddy Rally: May 17 through 19

Location: The Foretravel Plant and Headquarters in Nacogdoches, TX.

This is a great opportunity for us to bring some of our friends to a Foretravel event even though they don’t own a Foretravel at this time (Hopefully, when they see how much fun we have they will want to get a Foretravel and be a part of our Club.)

1. Fall Rally: October 18 through 20.

Location: KOA Hot Springs in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Wagon Master: THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO VOLUNTEER AND BE INVOLVED. I need a wagon master couple (or two couples to come together to be co-wagon masters) to head up this rally. There are lots of things to do and it is a wonderful RV resort. I just need somebody to step up and say they would like to be involved in this way. Please let me know if you would like to consider this opportunity.

Shirley and I are looking forward to seeing you at these events. If you haven’t paid your dues for the year, the amount is $80.00 and should be mailed to the Club office in Nacogdoches (1221 Northwest Stallings, Nacogdoches, TX 75964).
